Professor Emeritus @ The University of Osaka Hikaru KOBAYASHI is a distinguished chemist specializing in Si-based agents with applications in medicine, health, and well-being. Born in Kyoto, Japan, in 1956, he earned his Ph.D. from Kyoto University in 1989. Over his career, he published more than 250 peer-reviewed papers and served as an editor for “Applied Surface Science” for over a decade. He was a full professor from 1998 to 2021 and is now Professor Emeritus and a visiting professor at Osaka University.
