Gaia Sound Artist, Sound Therapist, Visual Sound Artist Akira Ikeda is a Gaia Sound Artist who bridges people, nature, and the universe through sound and prayer. Performing in over 30 countries, he creates unique sound journeys using ethnic instruments, custom-made devices, plant bio-signals, and solfeggio frequencies to transport listeners inward. From a young age, he was immersed in Buddhist art and nature, exploring music as a “universal language.” Formerly known as “Aki-Ra Sunrise,” he now releases works linked to the “Earth Calendar” and leads projects focused on ocean, dolphin, and forest renewal.
